About Ellie

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I would describe my gameplay style as “just go” no matter how far the ball may be I always make an effort to touch that ball and keep it in play and if a mistake is made I shake it on and move on to dominate in serve receive

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I play by the heart and hustle mentality, I pour my heart out into the court by motivating myself and others and hustling every single play, a ball doesn’t drop without me on the ground

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

University of Florida - Camper of the day St Joseph Academy - defensive MVP/ Most improved (volleyball) + honor rolls St Anthony- principals honors (4.0 GPA)

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

As a volleyball players I have developed my skills in my mental game, reminding myself mistakes happen and to get out of my head by keeping calm and moving on, I’ve have experience as team captain of my club and school teams leading our team to wins against tough opponents and to never back down. I also volunteer to coach youth volleyball

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

In my 13’s year of club (24-25) I had teammates who were not very supportive nor would push me to do my best on and off the court, they would discourage me and often make me feel like I wasn’t performing well in my sport and that I should quit, but at the end of the day I had my own sources of support and encouragement off the court, my mom and dad.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a college that has a good law and business program, a good campus environment, and an encouraging team that never backs down
