About Ellie

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

My gameplay is built on intensity, discipline, and consistent effort. As a libero, I refuse to let balls hit the floor. One of my biggest strengths is reading the ball early, which helps me move efficiently and stay ready. Communication and encouragement are at the core of how I play. I stay vocal, communicate clearly, and help build a strong culture by keeping the team connected and focused.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I’m driven, coachable, and constantly looking to grow. I take challenges as opportunities, stay composed under pressure, and always give my full effort. I lead with a positive mindset, support my teammates, and hold myself to high standards on and off the court.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I was elected as the Class of 2028 President and am actively involved in student council. I’m also a proud member of Unified Champions, an inclusive program that promotes leadership and friendship between students with and without disabilities. Academically, I’m an all-A student and recently earned a score of 5 on the AP Human Geography exam.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Passion Project – Playground Communication Boards Led a long-term project starting in 4th grade continuing through freshman year to install communication boards on playgrounds for nonverbal students. Partnered with a speech-language pathologist, and secured funding through PTO presentations, and expanded the project to all 34 schools in the district.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a college with strong academics, especially in the biomedical field, and a competitive volleyball program where I can grow as a player and a person. I want a team with a supportive, hard working culture and coaches who value development, communication, and team chemistry. A place where I can make an impact on the court and in the classroom and be part of something meaningful.
