Emerick is currently an unranked prospect in the 2026 Class according to our Prep Dig Florida State Rankings, but that is only because we have not released them for her state yet. She plays volleyball for Vero Beach High School and currently plays for the VEVA volleyball club program. Miss Dayton stole the show on her court as she proved to have such a high motor in all facets of her position. Not only did she move laterally very fast, but when she got stuck staying with her opposing middle and had to close the block to the pins, she made a valiant effort to reach over and close with her hands effectively. With her aggressiveness at the net, her squad was very competitive with everyone they matched up against during the two hours. As a route runner, she has precision footwork and there is not a location on the net that she isn’t effective at. In our minds, she is the total package as a strong middle who can take over games if you need her to on both ends. She is even capable of playing some right side and being a shut down blocker as she presses over the net well. We thoroughly enjoyed her court presence and demeanor and strongly recommend that all college coaches give her a look. Please help us congratulate her on earning the Top Performer award at the showcase.
