Lehmann is the primary setter for her Dayton Jrs team. She has quickness in her movement around the court that gets her to the ball so she can use her hands as much as possible. Her athleticism also includes making plays in tough situations. When getting ready to contact the ball her hands get up high while she is often up off the floor. Her touch and tempo includes quick options to the middle and outside with good action behind her to set against the flow. She and her team had a solid first day to stay in the upper division moving forward to Saturday.

Emily is a Dayton Juniors kid that has lightning-fast feet and a sense of the game. On more than one occasion, she had a choice of making the easy decision on an out-of-system pass or the “right” decision. Turns out that Miss Lehmann is REALLY good at picking the “right” decision so that her hitters can do their jobs at a high level. Unassuming and undersized, Emily should fit very nicely as a 6-2 setter at a large school or a smaller school looking for a fast and athletic 5-1 setter.
