Meton is still doing a lot of setting for the club team, but she’s also trying her hand in a lot of other areas with the team’s depth at setter. She continues to dive after balls like crazy and is also taking some swings in the offense. Her willingness to learn could be a valuable asset during not only club season, but also at the next level. Melton had 917 assists, 105 kills, 260 digs and 57 aces, helping the Cardinals go 25-11 and win a third straight 20th District crown this past fall.

Melton does a great job moving her feet well trying to make precise passes and allow hitters to smack balls down. Melton has a number of sets including back sets. She is not afraid to dive after balls defensively. She controls the net and has a scorching jump serve to the back row.

Melton had 1,036 assists, 351 digs, 124 kills and 38 aces helping the Cardinals to a 25-12 record, a 20th District championship and spot in the 5th Region semifinals.

The versatile Melton is constantly trying to find ways to improve in all aspects of the game, which is a big reason she earned a spot on the Kentucky Volleyball Coaches Association. She sets consistently from all over the court and is able to hit and block from both the middle and pins in the front row. Melton constantly hustles after balls and has solid spin on her serves. Melton has 2,970 assists, 1,126 digs, 432 kills, 128 aces and 100 blocks for her career. The 2,970 careers assists and 1,036 assists this past fall are Taylor County school records. Melton has been named to the All 20th District, All 20th District Tournament and 2A State Tournament team three times each. She also made the 5th Region All-Tournament team this past fall. Melton had 124 kills, 19 assisted blocks, three solo blocks, 351 digs and 38 aces helping Taylor County to a 25-12 record, a 20th District Tournament championship and spot in the 5th Region semifinals this past fall.

Melton can set consistently in addition to being able to hit and block from multiple positions in the front row.
