A long and athletic outside hitter who’s used to carrying her team’s offense, Schaper adds a lot of firepower to the pin. She’s an excellent all-around player, though, and can score in a variety of ways – she can use her length and size to overpower blockers but also find nice angles to go around them and send a torpedo toward the defender. Schaper has also grown to be a very consistent and reliable player, coming up big in key moments to help her team and playing well even if she’s under pressure or offensive overloaded. She can also create problems from the service line with her tough floater.

The long and skilled outside hitter is a key player for the Wildcats, especially because of her offensive potential. Besides her very high contact point and power, Schaper also manages to use her length to find good angles and avoid opposing blockers. That combination makes of her a player capable of scoring from anywhere on the court and a force even when she’s at the backcourt. Schaper is also very steady with her passing and defense and a solid server.

Cy Woods’ main offensive player, Schaper was the only player in the team to side out at a decent rate throughout the entire match. Because of that, she was set very often and, at times, overloaded, getting set on the backcourt when the team was out-of-system. She displayed a good mix of power plays and smart ones and bailed the team out of some difficult situations. Schaper also had a little bit of a good serving run going on set one and got to dig some balls.
