Emmons continues to be one of the most prolific hitters in the 5th Region. She knows how to use her size to make things happen. Emmons finds different ways to put balls down in the middle and the pins. She can angle balls off blockers on one play then pound one to the back row on the next play. Emmons also makes crisp passes and scores a lot of points off hard serves.

Emmons controls the net well with her height. Defenders have a difficult time digging up her shots to the opposite line. Emmons is not afraid to take force off her swings so they hit the targets. If she does not block balls, she at least deflects them in the air so her teammates can make plays. Emmons continues to improve her defense and serving.

Emmons is a force in the front. Her swings to the opposite line are tough for defenders to dig up. Emmons is not afraid to take some force off swings to make sure they hit the target. Teams have to respect her blocking ability at the net. That gives her teammates time to make plays when opponents tip over her. Emmons is also trying to become a solid defender and server. Emmons helped Green County to a 24-10 record last year with an All “A” 5th Region crown and a sixth straight 18th District championship with 288 kills, 52 solo blocks, 36 assisted blocks, 162 digs and 70 aces.
