About Emma

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a work in progress. I have been moved around to multiple positions and have enjoyed learning each one. I have good jumping ability and enjoy blocking. I am working on a faster attack and arm swing to develop more power. I have been told I was quiet on the court as I have been the younger player on my teams but I have gotten comfortable taking more of a leadership role.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am very competitive and hold myself accountable to my team. I love having fun and enjoy laughing with my teammates.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Student Council. National Honors Society. Presidential Academic Award. American Legion Award.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have become more of a leader as I've had more high school experience. I volunteer at St. Johns Home for adults and for Reading Rocks in the summer.

What type of college are you looking for?

I would like to attend a college where I enjoy the campus and student support/balance while playing volleyball.
