Sullivan does a good job tracking down balls and even keeping plays alive if they angle off teammates. She makes the simple passes with her athleticism and can quickly recover if she’s playing back and opponents try to tip balls into the doughnut. Sullivan showed in the first round state tournament game at Lexington Catholic she can handle well-struck balls from tough hitters. She even tracks down balls after blockers touch them. Sullivan will work to find better ways to make first touches during the spring even when playing softball.

Sullivan has used her athleticism all year to make solid pass after pass at the libero spot. Sullivan has done a good job accepting coaching and advise from the coaching staff and her teammates trying to better balls each time she takes the court. Sullivan steps into balls and makes solid passes. Sullivan has a good eye for balls knowing when to pull back on long shots and let the balls go out of bounds.

Sullivan had some nice moments under duress in her first varsity start. She handled some hard hit balls including some from O’Brien and made good out of system passes. She’ll be more effective passer with work on her ball control. Sullivan recorded some tough serves in the loss.
