The middle/pin doesn’t play for a strong high school program but she makes her presence felt on the court. She also brings that same flavor to the club team with Dynasty. She can be effective both in the middle and the pin. When I saw her at the Prep 250 in December she was very strong on the right pin and moves from the 22nd position up to the 13th.

You’ll want to keep an eye on Salamasina in the upcoming club season. In fact, you may have already seen her compete on some of the biggest club stages in the Midwest if you paid attention to this year’s 15 Open gauntlet. Salamasina is a long, dynamic middle blocker who can hammer away on the slide or take a traditional two-footed takeoff on the right pin. I’m thrilled to see what 16s action has in store for this 2025 standout.
