About Evangeline

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am willing to learn, grow, and play any position. I play with focus and intensity. I’m young with a lot of potential for continued growth!

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am a natural leader in life and on the court. I play with high expectations for myself and my teammates.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am involved in high school varsity volleyball, HS varsity basketball, track, club volleyball, church youth group, student council.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I am a highly motivated person. I enjoy a challenge and rising to the task at hand.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I suffered a stress fracture of my vertebrae. I had to sit out of sports for several months for the healing process. This was a very difficult time for me to watch my teammates play while I sat along the sidelines, unable to participate in what I love to do. I focused on rehabilitation, healing, and continuing to be around the sports to maintain my team connection.

What type of college are you looking for?

A smaller state or private Christian college.

Jacbos is young middle that is already light years ahead of her peers, earning varsity time as a freshman and proving she owns the middle. She has a solid vertical, a fast, heavy arm swing, and can score from out of the middle as well as the pins. Her raw athleticism, ability to adjust mid stride, and her court awareness make her a constant threat on the court. With her playing up two age levels this club season, she’s poised to develop her skills and game even faster and we can’t wait to see it all unfold.
