About Faith

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Faith Mellon is a 5’5 Setter & Right Side. Mellon plays for Academy Volleyball Cleveland's top National 13s team, (AVC 13 Red). Faith also sets and hits for Avon Middle School. Faith's gameplay is team focused, controlled, advanced skill level, fluid, high volleyball I.Q., tempo driven, a six rotation captain & leader.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Confident, Coachable, Positive, Motivated, Leader, Accountable, Very Funny

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I'm heavy on philanthropy and I love to engage in it alongside my parents. I belong to the "10 Ft Club" which is an elite, functional strength training, mental strength training and nutrition education focused organization.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I’m a born leader! I approach every life situation with determination & kindness and I stand up for what I believe in. I’m a problem solver & an incredible communicator. When i'm on the court I put my team first, and as a leader, I work to keep us connected mentally & physically. I volunteer as a coach to the littles at my volleyball club's camps and I take an elective marketing & branding course.

What type of college are you looking for?

Division 1 Volleyball, Strong business programming, A warm, sunny climate, A Large social culture with school tradition.
