About Finley
Expert Analysis
Guilherme Torres | Prep Dig Scout
Albiston was very strong at the net and displayed interesting offensive qualities that made of her one of the best in the position. She had good variation with her swings and was excellent at assessing the situation and making the right choice every time she went up to swing. Albiston displayed solid firepower to put the ball down, but much of her high efficiency came from her ability to read blockers and hit around them. She played some middle too and did well, getting to contribute on both sides of the ball. The outside hitter also passed well and did a good job of communicating with her teammates.

We have watched Miss Albiston blossom into a very strong asset for any team she plays on over the past few years. She has made it onto her official Watch List due to hard work and solid production on the court. Not only is she strong in every aspect of the game, but she is the type of player that could easily be a coach after she is done with college. Equipped with a high volleyball IQ and a great understanding of each skill set, she helps out coaching youth volleyball in her spare time. We are sure that she will bring her great court vision to whatever court she participates on and they will thrive due to her ability to score in a variety of ways. We are very excited to see how much she has progressed this club season. Stay tuned for more on her play.

Finley is currently an unranked prospect in the 2027 class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings, but is listed on our official Watch List. She plays volleyball at Providence Classical High School and club for the Renegades volleyball program. The lengthy pin can ball on the offensive end and all of our court coaches and scouts realized this at the Expo. I really like how high she reaches during her attack. By having a contact point, it makes it very difficult for blockers to time her swing. She showed some nice pop on the ball, which made her very dangerous to anyone who went up against her squad during the scrimmage portion. Even when the ball was slightly behind her during out of system plays, Finley proved to be able to still use her shoulders well in order to hit an aggressive ball over to the opposition. What stood out to me was how she hardly ever had her heels hit the floor during transition from the net, which kept her very fast from dig/block to attack. I also loved how she had a pretty fast first step to the ball and was decisive when she needed to speed up for out of system balls. Please help us congratulate her on earning a Top Performer award at the Expo.
