Ramsdell-Washington is a top prospect in the Prep Dig 2027 class as the 6’1 middle has continued to grow her skill set as an active and dynamic force at the net. The North Texas commit was a 1st team NLL selection in 2025 following another solid output on both sides of the ball. She contributed 2.3 k/s while once again averaging over three blocks per match. Look for her numbers to increase as Northview looks to replace some key offense that graduated last year.

Ramsdell-Washington announced her commitment a short while back as she will be heading to North Texas. This club season she has increasingly grown her own impact on a Legacy club squad loaded with talent. She is more assertive in her offensive availability, which has led to more and better production overall. As the quality of her pattern range and arm control is more fluid and effective, so to is her defense to close down hitters and get up and over fast.

Still among the top five in this 2027 Ohio class, Ramsdell-Washington is a key part of her Legacy team that went 4-4 at NIT, finishing tied for 7th overall. The North Texas commit was a leader on both sides of the ball last fall for Northview with 2.3 k/s and 3.3 d/m, both career high averages, earning her 1st team NLL honors in 2025.

Another dynamic prospect making an upward shift this rankings cycle, Ramsdell-Washington also made the move to compete with Legacy this club season, which has paid big dividends in her action overall. As a middle, she looks more confident and assertive in all phases of her game on both sides of the ball. An athletic prospect, her movement laterally and in her approach patterns is becoming more fluid and efficient which is increasing her overall impact. This progress has been fun to watch develop given the earlier identification in her development ceiling.

Ramsdell-Washington played a huge role in leading the 16-1 team to an undefeated 10-0 16 Open crown in Atlanta. She simply puts on shows on the court. If defenses do not get hands on her swings, the ball goes flying to the ground. She takes full advantage of her size to control the net. Her slide kills catch defenses off-guard. She will be a force to watch the rest of her career.

Ramsdell-Washington has some of the biggest upside in this 2027 class. She has the athleticism and physical tools to become elite as she develops for the remainder of the Northview prep career and the next level. This coming season playing for Legacy’s (Michigan) top 16U team should be a big one as she will compete through a big schedule and surrounded by key pieces that will allow her to shine on offense. Her defense should be just as impressive as she continues to become more efficient in her blocking footwork and movement.
