Gabby brings great length to the back row that changes what a defense can do structurally and she used that height throughout the day to handle high-velocity attacks that shorter liberos have to absorb low rather than intercept at range. Her serve receive was extremely dependable in every scrimmage setting. Court coaches noted her reading ability specifically, pointing to how early she identified hitter tendencies and adjusted her positioning before the ball was even set. Miss Dooley does such a great job leading both vocally and by example with teammates that she has never met before.  This speaks volumes about who she is and her character. She is always ready to volunteer for any demonstration and has never met a stranger.  She is the kind of player who can be glue to a roster both on and off of the court. Dooley is a Class of 2028 libero who attends St. Dominic Savio Catholic and plays her club ball for Roots. She’s been a standout in many of our previous showcases and is always ready to bring the fire and make an impact in the back row. Dooley has some impressive defensive skills, standing out for her positioning and her ball control to perform strong plays. She brings an incredibly positive attitude to the court every time she’s in it, lifting her teammates with her high energy, and is extremely technical and well-rounded, not hesitating before helping in different positions when needed.

A well-known face for us from previous showcases, Dooley again brought a terrific attitude to the court, helping create the exciting and competitive atmosphere we had. She stood out at the libero position, displaying excellent positioning and ball control to keep the ball in play every time it went her way. Dooley also stepped up to play different positions, such as outside hitter and middle, and did that thanks to her solid all-around game, which combines superior technical skills and a high level of athleticism.

It was impossible not to notice Dooley’s presence at the event as she was always the first to jump onto the court for the demo drills – and she killed in each of them. She was extremely determined in each activity, from the simplest to the most complex ones, and did a great job of showing her skills and her character on the court. Dooley also showed a solid all-around game, helping the drills go on by filling in and playing basically every position, even middle.

Gabriella is the type of defender any coach would want on their court. She is cheerful, talkative, and driven. Her personality and character really shines and does not go unnoticed. Her defense and passes were on point the entire expo. Her ball were going directly to target where the setter wouldn’t need to take more than two sets to the ball. She also hustled for everything, never letting the ball hit the floor if she could help it.
