Miss Skopljak is currently ranked as the 72nd best overall prospect in the 2027 class according to our Texas State Rankings but will be moving up a lot in the next update from what I saw from her this past club season and during the showcase. She plays volleyball at Plano Senior High School and also for the MadFrog volleyball club. The versatile right side/middle proved to be a stud in all aspects of the game on Sunday. What I loved about watching Gabbie play was that she was all smiles throughout the entire showcase and this told me a lot about her positive personality. You can tell that she truly loves to play this game and enjoys the tough competition. It also showed me a lot about her character as she came up and introduced herself to me. Confidence and great communication will go a long way when talking to college coaches in the recruiting process. As far as on the court, she was phenomenal at the net. Her amazing vertical and power played a huge part in shutting down opposing attackers and killing the ball with authority. I am going to have a lot of fun in moving her in the rankings when I update them, so stay tuned to see where she falls.
