About Genesia

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I’m a thinker with volume. I like to outsmart opponents and still play with a loud, confident presence that brings intensity to my team.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I have a big, energetic personality and a strong ‘next-point’ mentality. I don’t let mistakes or a few points shake me. I reset quickly and stay locked in. I’m also big on communication, keeping my team loud, connected, and focused.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

As of the 2025 school year, I’ve only received GPA awards.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I’ve developed strong leadership and teamwork skills through serving in ASB for two out of my three years in middle school, and I plan to continue ASB as a sophomore. I’ve also completed around 50 hours of community service, which taught me responsibility and how to support my community. On top of that, I’ve played club volleyball for two years, which has helped me grow discipline.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

COVID was a major challenge for me. I lost structure, fell out of shape, and eventually quit soccer because I didn’t feel like myself physically. Coming back from that taught me a lot. I had to rebuild my confidence, take responsibility for my fitness, and learn how to be consistent again.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a college with coaches who understand the balance between a demanding STEM major and a competitive volleyball schedule. I want a passionate, close-knit, and energetic environment where both academics and athletics are valued, and where I can grow as a student-athlete.

Davis brought an electric attacking presence with a confident, aggressive mindset on the pin. Her arm speed separating her from the pack, she was not hesitant to challenge big blocks and test seams. What truly popped was her ability to adjust mid-rally — rolling to the deep corner, snapping line, then coming right back with pace on the next swing. She showed strong timing on transition and an instinct for attacking off quick tempo sets, keeping blockers guessing. ~Theresa @prepdigdakotas

What to expect this club season: a high-volume attacker who will continue to develop as a momentum-shifter, capable of taking over stretches with her offensive firepower and evolving into a reliable point scorer.
