Coleman provided one of the better efforts by a freshman this past week. Her first significant offensive opportunities of the season saw her contribute 17 kills for Van Wert as the Cougars earned their first victory of the season with a 3-2 result over Elida. Her length is a big asset at the net as her effort between the pins on both sides of the ball was indicative of what her potential is for her career ahead. Along with her big offense, Coleman also contributed 12 digs and four blocks on the defensive side.
