About Giulia

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

To briefly describe my style of play I would say my gameplay is energetic, hardworking, disciplined, and resilient. On the court I am light and fast on my feet and like to be everywhere I can be to set my teammates up for success. I execute when needed for my team and my energy and hard work can be seen on the court both verbally and through my effort.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

My mentality is what I believe separates me from others. I am constantly soaking up everything and learning everything that I can to become the best volleyball player and best overall version of myself. I hold myself accountable and push myself so that I can benefit my future self. I work on all aspects of my game with my end goal in mind of improving myself on and off the court.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Clubs Student High school Ambassador Italian Club Non-Sport Awards Freshman Year: All 4 quarters Highest Honor Roll

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Through years of volleyball I have grown as a leader both on and off of the court through establishing the example of a high standard. Sophomore year as a captain I began to hold my teammates to a higher standard and lead through example in all aspects of the game. Learned how important the chemistry between players is for an individual team.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I have battles when injuries early on and having to come back from the time away from the game. I have grown more aware of taking care of my body and doing what I can to keep my body as healthy as possible. Experienced all sides of a volleyball player from starting to being on the bench. Learned how to play and contribute for the team over self accomplishment and grew in resilience to handle press

What type of college are you looking for?

A college where I can grow in my faith as well as an overall person. Where I will be able to devote time to my faith, academics, and athletics.
