About Grace

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

My gameplay style is high energy, reactive, quickness while tracking. Vocally communicating constantly with my team. I am on high alert and absorb movement, sounds, expressions, placement. I celebrate my teams and self achievements on/off the court while still being focused.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I self regulate pressure internally with positive self thoughts. I reflex on team/self growth in positive ways, wither its game day or practice and give my team/coach my 100%. I work year round to improve and prove success. I am adaptable to change and see it as a challenge. I encourage myself to be better and offer my team the same. We are in this together.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Student Council Teen Leadership Program Choir All School Play

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I've been humbled to be team captain for the past two HS volleyball seasons and developed a sense of positive reinforcement. I take pride in helping our younger volleyball players by helping with youths camps. I welcome collaboration and teamwork to build on ideas and improvements through student council and teen leader program. I'm on the HS track team and assist the younger athletes and events.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Yes, my first year playing volleyball, I felt a sense of WOW! I love playing and being part of team, I was very raw, my skill level needed work. I'd hear the sighs, snickers and read facial expressions with mistakes but the excitement and my passion for volleyball out weighted the negativity. So, I trained hard, built confidence, understood maturity, set elite goals.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a college that will give me the whole college experience, Provide me a great educational guidance that I will work hard towards. I'm looking for a college with a high level of competition and the extended family team.
