About Grace

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I play scrappy and am willing to get on the ground, and keep the defense guessing where I'll put the ball next, and I am willing to play wherever is needed

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I always try to keep a positive mentality by taking coaches' advice and corrections, and if I make a mistake, I move past it and fix it next time. I always like to get excited and hype up my teammates and cheer them on.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I play for a club team made up of players from my high school. I think it is good to continue playing with them so we can get comfortable with each other and learn each other's gameplay and style.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

My leadership has gotten much stronger as I have gotten more comfortable with my teammates and gotten stronger with my abilities. I work hard and like to help out anywhere I can.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Being one of the youngest on the team is something that can give you setbacks. I faced a lot of opinions and struggles being played over an older player and their friends getting defensive, but it helped me grow and realize that I can be much better than I am, and helped me to keep working hard.

What type of college are you looking for?

I'm looking for a college that can offer or have a great program in the field that I want to go into, but also offers a great athletic side to it. I love the sport of volleyball and want to be involved in the best of the best! I am looking into the medical field currently and the jobs that it has.
