About Grace

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I would describe my gameplay style as competitive and strategic. In close games, I work my hardest to take a big swing to change the energy of the game or to use a smart tip when necessary. I also try my best to encourage my teammates around me, making it my goal that the entire team succeeds.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Like any athlete, I have been placed in tight game situations where I must fight my hardest in order to win. During these types of games or any sort of match, I use my mentality as a tool to help strengthen my skill. For example, I make it my goal for every game to speak positively to both myself and my teammates.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

At my high school, Bellarmine Prep, I am actively involved in many leadership roles around campus. For instance, I am apart of the Campus Ministry Committee, Assemblies and Intramurals Committee, Lector group (reading at mass), and I am a part of Link Crew (upperclassmen leaders who help to guide the freshmen). I have also won the Spanish 1 Award, Religion Award, and P.E. and Health Award.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Since middle school, I have wanted to serve my community in any way that I could. For me, that means taking on strong leadership positions. Through my many years of participating in these positions, I have obtained skills such as public speaking, finding compromise within differing opinions, and learning to observe other's own characteristics to discover what fits their best needs.

What type of college are you looking for?

In a college, I am looking for a tight-knit community that will feel like a second home. I would prefer to stay more western in the United States but I am also open to any location. Academics has always played a significant role in my life so I would like to attend somewhere where I can continue to grow in my intelligence at a high level.
