Player Bio
How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?
I have a quick ability to move all over the court which I capitalize with my versatility. I try and lead by example while being a shoulder to lean on. I am a coachable athlete who plays with intensity and is I strive to be one of the hardest working recruits you will find, who plays with a level of maturity and competitiveness.
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
I love a good challenge, to me every ball on the court is gettable to and mine. I thrive in intense environments and when under pressure. I am a coachable athlete and I strive to be one of the hardest working recruits you will find, who plays with a level of maturity and competitiveness. I am as happy as I am because I believe I have my priorities in the correct directions.
Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?
I also volunteer at our local youth volleyball programs collecting over 100 hours in the past 7 months, I am a member of National Beta Society, Summer Volleyball JVA job, Presidents club, Deca, Help Save the Next Girl and Yovaso clubs.
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
I've met so many amazing people which have opened me to so many opportunities which is why I continue to try and do things for others. Playing volleyball taught me the value of communication, hard work, perseverance, and how life is doing what you love. On Sundays, I volunteer at our local volleyball program for four hours to inspire and guide other young athletes.
Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.
In second grade I suffered a concussion from slipping on black ice. I have had to rely on my family when I didn't know how to read or write, I overcame the challenges of playing sports again, and getting the courage to explain my story and start a new chapter. It helped grow me as a person, getting closer to the things I love and realizing how lucky I am to be healthy everyday!
What type of college are you looking for?
My goal is to find a college that allows me to reach my goals, academically, becoming a physical therapist. And ultimately finding the right college match at the highest level of competition possible. I want to be located in a good safe area somewhat close to home in the best position to meet new people and explore new opportunities.
