About Gwyn

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am all about having fun on the court. I love hyping up my teammates and having a great time playing volleyball. My mindset on the court is very next play. After a mistake, you go again.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Dealing with a disease that affects my muscles. It is called dermatomyositis. At the worst stage I had this it hurt to walk. I’m very proud of how far I’ve came.

When out of system, Nelson stays calm and collected setting up her pin hitters with a high pass off the net to allow an aggressive play.
