About Hadlee

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a hard worker who never gives up on a ball. If you’ve watched me play in person, you know that half the time I’m throwing myself across the court regardless if the ball is mine or not.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am someone who values my mental health and my teammates mental health a lot on and off the court. However, if I’m having a bad game I tend to get mad at myself and it can come across as me being mad at other players but I am learning to work on that.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have developed many useful qualities from playing volleyball. I have learned how to communicate effectively, take responsibility and own up to my mistakes on and off the court, I’ve learned to take on the role as leader if needed, and great teamwork skills.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

My coaches this year were kind of challenging. Originally, I was the libero for more than half of our games but one day they decided to take me out of that position with no explanation. I am not the only one they did this to. They would just not communicate things very well with their players but other than that I haven’t really faced anything.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a college that needs a libero by the time I graduate, and that offers a good psychology program.
