Another player that stood out to me as immediately recognizable as a D1 player was Hannah for Carolina Select. She showed good speed and athleticism and when she decided a ball was hers, it was hers. She manhandled a few players on the block with raw power, and then used some excellent timing to absolutely floor a few balls in the time I got to see her. South Carolina grabbed a good one here, and she’s going to be a problem for people at the next level.

Here’s another that should get some more press. A middle for Carolina that causes problems for teams. She’s got good size and is athletic enough to get left to right to help with the doubles on time. In the air she adjusts well and can shift her shot to find open court if facing a tough block. A good part of their offense runs through her and it makes sense, she’s about as solid of a middle as they come, and there aren’t a ton of those around.
