Jesse Etter | Prep Dig Scout
The lefty with the sweet swing from Auburn and PSVBA 16 Legacy is adding strength and aggression to her game. Ajayi is showing strong hands on the block this club season, and she has increased her range of swings, driving balls down the line and finding a sharp angle when the block overplays her. PSVBA 16 Legacy will play in the American Division at USAV Nationals, and the 16 Open at Emerald City.

Ajayi has a great contact on the ball with stellar hops that take her into the air. She moves the ball between blocks and places it where passers are not. When it’s open, her line shot is deadly, almost always getting a kill.

Ajayi racked up over 100 kills on the season for Auburn while playing all around. The 5’10” attacker showed she can handle her business in the back row and as a pin hitter; Ajayi totaled over 2 digs per set and over 3 service receptions per set. The 2028 prospect was also hard to handle from the service line- posting a 25-18 aces-to-errors ratio.

Ajayi is a lefty attacker who plays taller than her listed 5’9″ height. Her outstanding reach and quick arm swing had defenders ducking this club season when she ripped balls down the line off the right side. Ajayi is an athletic player who will only continue to get better as she grows her game. She is currently the #1-ranked right side in the 2028 rankings.

Ajayi is long and athletic, with a whippy arm swing and the ability to score from either pin. She ripped some kills at nearly the 10-foot line during the ECC and can swallow up a tight set when she is blocking. Ajayi looks like she may have already passed her listed 5’9″ height, and may end up closer to 6 feet going forward. She is a go-to scorer for NPJ Seattle 15 National and should be a featured player for Auburn this fall.
