About Harper

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Hi, I’m Harper odden I'm a setter out of West Fargo, North Dakota, being a setter my main goal is to be the biggest playmaker on the court. I have very high expectations of myself and have a very good volleyball IQ on the court. I have grown up in a volleyball gym and want to proceed getting developed as much as I can. Being a very good teammate is a main part of my play well on and off the court.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I’m a very confident and competitive person on the court. I want to succeeded and get better every game, practice and training session.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am at volt volleyball a club out of west Fargo where I’ve spent the last 6 years and hade my first season as a varsity athlete at West Fargo high school.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I’ve always been a natural leader and with my age I take it and make it a challenge to still be a great leader and to not be afraid to have that position on and off the court by setting example or showing positive attitude all around.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

as though injuries are in all sports some can always set you back. Starting Last year I dealt with problems in my hips and still have little challenges with that. But also being an athlete is showing you can push through those challenges and I work at that every day to help and not let it set me back.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a college that can support my athletic and academic career because I find that both are very important in life and helps me to become a better person

Her platform was steady, and she showed the ability to handle tough serves and hard-driven balls with poise. Harper’s court awareness stood out—she was always in the right spot, whether it was dropping into coverage or chasing down a deep tip.

She brought the kind of dependable defense every team needs late in a tournament.
