About Harper

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am an aggressive and confident attacker with the ability to talk on the court and make sure my presence on the court is known.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I strive to just be the best I can be. I am coachable and will work as hard as I can to be exactly what my team needs me to be! I love any opportunities to learn and grow as a leader, teammate, and athlete!

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am involved in National Honor Society, Key Club, Student Coucil, and a program called Trust N Teens (TNT) where students are assigned a elementary student that they can spend time with weekly and just get to know and mentor them through their school year!

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I am a big encourager on and off the court. I want my teammates to know that I believe in them and that they should to. Leadership is very important to me and it is a role that I find myself in quite often. Playing as a team and being there for your teammates and just picking them up while they are down are some things that are very important to me in my role on my teams.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I have been through a lot of things in my life. One thing that has really changed my perspective on life is my parents. I found out my dad cheated on my mom in second grade. I kept it a secret and my outlet has always been volleyball. It was hard to be at home with the two of them, but I found peace in the gym.
