About Harpper

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I currently am a full rotation player. My strong suit in volleyball is my defense and ability to read the ball and play fearlessly. I have trained to build my vertical and have adapted to become a high IQ player allowing me to succeed as an outside hitter at a high level as well as utilizing and my defense.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I have a competitive personality combined with a lot of determination pushing me to continuously aim for my goals.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am currently ranked 3rd in my class academically and have also balanced high school volleyball, track, softball, and choir while obtaining my GPA. I also participate in club indoor volleyball where I play for Rise 712 and will be starting beach volleyball for the first time this spring and summer as well.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have played AAU volleyball since my 5th grade year and have now began participating in club. We travel over an hour one direction to practice with only one other girl from my high school. I have learned to not only adapt to new teammates, make new friends, but have accepted a role and the trust of my teammates to play full rotation.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking at playing for a NAIA or higher division college at this time.
