About Haylee

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a hard working, quick footed setter who ran a fast tempo middle focused offense during the 2025 season. I was varsity setter as a freshman at Hot Springs HS. I recently broke my school record for assists per match with 43 assists against Spearfish. I also broke the season assist record in 2025 with 827 season assists. 2025 Black Hills All Conference HM and Best of the Black Hills HM selection

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Friendly, outgoing and eager to learn and get better. I love sports and the competition they provide. I compete in volleyball, basketball, track and rodeo with volleyball as my first sport.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Honor Roll FFA 4H

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have developed leadership, teamwork, and communication through participation in sports as well as other actitivites. As a setter I developed my communication skills the most as well as being an underclassman this past season with multiple seniors on the team and a change in position. I perform well under pressure and handle those situations well.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I am relatively new to the setting side of the game as I played as an OH and MB prior to moving to the setting position. I began setting in 15U club my 8th grade year and am now setting at the varsity team which has required a lot of dedication over the summer and season to prepare myself for the new role and gain my teammates trust.
