Pehlkie gives the Union 17 UA Black team solid play on defense. She has quick reflexes to make big digs and put the offense into a good rhythm. Pehlke does a great job anticipating and reacting to balls, even making one-armed saves when needed. Pehlke has developed a solid serve.

Pehlke showed she may be ready to contribute to the state power Sacred Heart this fall with the way she constantly dives after balls and constantly shuffles her feet trying to make crisp passes. Pehlke does a great job positioning herself to where she does not hide behind blocks. Pehlke also shows a lot of excitement after her team scores points.
