Vernon has been providing her most productive effort of her career in her final season. With a career high 253 kills, she is fifth overall among ECC offensive leaders. Her 2.9 k/s average was eclipsed in Walnut Hills’ most recent match as Vernon provided a team high 18 kills, which balanced well what she did on the defensive side with 15 digs for the double-double stat line. At 5’10, Vernon is a versatile attacker that is patient and develops good space to play the ball with range and touch when needed. The Eagles’ 3-2 win over Princeton propels them to another postseason opportunity versus Milford.
