Mike Bryant | Prep Dig Scout
One of the most successful four-year setters wrapping up her varsity career, Dittmar has amassed over 2,500 total assists at Tri-Valley. At over 650 assists in 2025, she has the opportunity to finish her career with three seasons over 700 total assists, including during her freshman campaign. At 6’0, her physical tools have been a big advantage for both her contact point at the second touch and in her ability to be offensive at the net herself. The Alabama-Birmingham commit is solid on the defensive side as well as she can put up a big block while also making plays in the back row as she has over 600 career digs. Tri-Valley defeated Steubenville 3-0 in their first playoff match and will next face Dover on Tuesday in a contest between two top seeds in Region 11.

Dittmar has been a consistent presence as a setter in this Ohio class with skills that have kept her among the top distributors over the past few seasons. At 6’0, she uses her size well to contact high to create good rhythm in her location to all attack points and good extension and force through both pins. She is a great pick-up for NCAA DI University of Alabama-Birmingham.

I’m a big fan of Dittmar’s game. As a 6’0 setter, she has many tools to contribute throughout a match as she defends well at the net and in the back row, she can be offensive at the right time, and her command of the court continues to evolve in her distribution skills. Her footwork has become more fluid, which allows her to use her natural tools well with her length and strength to both contact the ball at a high touch point and to send the ball with good force and accuracy against the flow. She and her Elite VBTC team are the third team in Pool 3 and the #27 seed overall in 17 Open at this weekend’s MEQ.

Dittmar is one of Ohio’s top setters in this class as she has good size at 6’0 and has continued to develop her range of tools in her distribution, decision-making, and defense. She has good footwork and is consistent in her high hand position that makes her difficult to defend, especially when in the front row as she can be offensive at the second touch to score. With a good core group of attackers around her, she will be a key catalyst in their success if middles can get established early along with balance through the pins, which this squad is capable of at a high competitive level.
