About Isabel

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a really competitive person but love brining high energy to the court and keeping everyone’s head up.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am a very out going person with a strong mentality and always have a keep pushing mindset.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

My leadership has developed through the club years. After learning that volleyball is such a mental sport I’ve realized some people haven’t figured that out yet so keeping the energy high on the court I try my best to keep everyone’s chins up during the match.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

The loss of my grandmother really took a toll on me. Living across the country from all family has always been hard but my grandmother was someone I could always rely on and cheer me up during tough times. Her diagnosis of cancer really hurt the whole family but watching her slowly pass away I started playing for her and I still do to this day.

What type of college are you looking for?

My goal in life is to be a pediatrician so I can help sick children. So any university that would support my goal in doing so along side playing volleyball is the university I want to be in.

The Lake Washington 2028 prospect has solid footwork for a young, tall setter- she is one to keep an eye on as she continues to develop her floor game.
