Guilherme Torres | Prep Dig Scout
Cordaway-Dreier and her AJV 15 Adidas team finished second in the division after getting six wins and a loss against older competition. The libero had a strong presence on the back row, leading her team’s defensive efforts with authority and consistency. Cordway-Dreier was excellent when playing defense, making the most of her strong combination of ball control, which she used to handle hard-driven swings, and agility, which came in handy when she had to chase tips and deflected shots. The libero fired an aggressive floater and was very precise with her hand-setting in out-of-system plays.

Please welcome Isabella to the Prep Dig Texas State Ranking List. She is currently ranked as the No. 43 overall player in the 2029 grad class. Miss Cordaway-Dreier is a 5’2” libero from Round Rock High School who competes for Austin Juniors Volleyball Club. She brings a quick, reactive style to the back row and plays with the kind of urgency that keeps rallies alive. Her ability to read the game shows up early in each point, often putting herself in position before the attack even develops. She handles serve receive with confidence and does a nice job absorbing pace while still delivering a controlled pass. There is a scrappiness to her game that stands out, especially when plays break down and she is forced to improvise. She does not shy away from contact and competes through every ball that comes her way. Over the course of a match, her consistency and effort begin to wear on opponents. Isabella continues to prove how valuable a steady libero can be to a team’s success. Please help us congratulate her on earning this well deserved recognition.

Cordaway-Dreier was one of the most impressive liberos in the event. Also a standout beach volleyball player, she was electric on the backcourt and performed some really impressive digs, displaying excellent positioning and ball control. Cordaway-Dreier didn’t hesitate for a split second if she had to go to the floor and did an excellent job of keeping the ball alive as much as she could. She was also very vocal and immediately established efficient communication with the players around her on the backcourt.
