About Isabella

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I’m a fast, aggressive hitter and strong blocker with quick footwork pin to pin. I read hitters well and adjust to get touches or close blocks. I compete with intensity every point and love being a reliable teammate. I’m excited to keep growing and play at the next level.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I believe you choose your “hard.” I’d rather be disciplined now than regret it later. I love working hard in the weight room and in practice, competing with intensity, and having fun on the court. I’m always excited to celebrate my teammates and stay positive no matter what.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

National Honor Society, Student Athlete Leadership Organization, Big Brothers Big Sisters

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I love to celebrate my teammates’ success and create positive energy. I believe that leadership is contagious, so I like leading by example and staying consistent in how I train and compete. I work hard off the court, whether that’s in the weight room or studying film, and I let the results show up in my performance. I also try to be someone my teammates can count on.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

During my 2023 school season, I sprained my ankle halfway through. I had to balance rest and recovery with pushing myself to get back before our big rivalry game. It also taught me how to support my team and be the best teammate I could be while I was sidelined.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a college that prioritizes both the athlete and the person. I want to be part of a program that will push me to be my best on the court and also support me academically and personally. It’s important to me to be in a positive culture that values hard work, accountability, and helping each other grow into successful students and adults.
