Isabella Morales has a specific skill she wants coaches to notice, the ability to not fold under pressure. She describes going back to the service line while the other team sits at game point and serving exactly like she always does, and she wants to be known as the player her teammates and coaches can rely on when it matters most. A piece of coaching feedback pushed her to become more outspoken. She was told to never forget who she is and to always present herself at a high level, to never be scared of an opponent, and that shift took her from being a bit timid to someone who watches everything her teammates are doing and takes real ownership on the court.

Morales is motivated by a genuine desire to win, and she’s excited to represent her school and show the athlete she’s becoming. Her goals for her freshman debut are simple, get on the court, get real experience, and be seen, and while she isn’t certain yet what kind of program fits her long term, she knows she wants strong academics paired with the chance to keep playing.
