About Isabella

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I feel like I stay very relaxed during serve-receive and keep a steady platform. I am aggressive on defense and have a good defensive read. I feel that I am an encouraging teammate and try to keep the team energized and stay vocal out on the court.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I feel that I bring energy and positivity to my teammates and always try to encourage them, even when a game may not be going our way. I don't believe in giving up and hard work always pays off.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Royal Character Award 2022-Community Christian School Voted Miss Servant's Heart for freshman class 2024

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I was team captain for both of my jr high teams and co-captain of my 15s team. I have played on top level club volleyball teams since I was 10. I feel that my volleyball experience has taught me a lot about teamwork and leadership. I also volunteer at my church and love working with kids. I frequently help with youth camps and clinics at my club (Oklahoma Peak).

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Moving to another club 15s year. It was very difficult leaving my friends and teammates from the past 2 years, but I felt that the decision was best for my development as a volleyball player.

What type of college are you looking for?

I definitely need somewhere close to the ocean with a competitive volleyball team. Most importantly, I’m looking for a coach/team that will be positive, encouraging, and help me become the best player and person that I can be. I am interesting in playing both indoor and beach volleyball!
