About Isabella

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I play a 6-2 rotation setter. I have a very high volleyball IQ and play great at defense.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am a very easy going person and high mentality. I enjoy tough love from coaching and I take corrections very well.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Presidential Award

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I am part of Civil Air Patrol and want to earn more leadership program to prepare myself.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Same as many athletes, I do have a lot of injuries. It’s very hard to watch from the sidelines, but I always want to be there to support my team and do everything I can to train and be prepared.

What type of college are you looking for?

Wu is the kind of setter who always seems to find a way to get her hands on the ball. She’s quick, hustles, is relentless, and does a great job of turning tough situations into successes. I was especially impressed with her ability to find her middles, whether the pass was right on target or when she was off the net. On the flip side, she was also one of the setters that played the best defense. She showcased that she is fierce, competitive, and the type of player teammates love having on the court with them.
