as our high school player of the year for the 2024 season. If Flint Hill finished on top in the VISAA state championship or even the Independent School League (ISL) championship the choice would have been much tougher. For high school Isabelle carried Flint Hill with more triple doubles (assists, sets and kills) than probably any other player.
For the club season she set for Metro leading them to an Open Division bid at the Junior Nationals in Utah. No other DMV club played in the Open Division. Isabelle set, hit and blocked Metro to that Open appearance. They came one win away from earning a spot in the gold pool.
At 6’3″ it will be interesting what position Isabelle plays at Purdue. Hitting and blocking are definitely strong suits in her game, but setting stands out as her position. Lots of versatility to make an impact in a number of different ways.
Isabelle ranks at number 75 nationally.

Isabelle won the award for best setter. At 6’3″ she does an excellent job of putting the ball away as well.
For Flint Hill she accumulated a number of triple doubles, piling up assists, kills and digs. For Metro she normally sets a 5/1, but if they choose to go with a 6/2 she stays in the front row to hit right side. She also gets very high over the net to put up a good block. It would not surprise me if she also got consideration for best blocker as well.
Isabelle committed to Purdue.
