About Isla

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

High-energy and passionate on the court. I go after every ball with relentless hustle and pride myself on being a consistent and reliable defender. Strong court awareness and loud, constant communication help me lead the back row and keep the team organized. I thrive in high-pressure moments and always bring intensity and focus to every point.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I bring a strong work ethic and focused mentality to everything I do. I'm in the gym every day and get on the court whenever I can to keep improving. I’m energetic, positive, and always looking for ways to lift up my teammates. I believe success starts with mindset, and my drive, discipline, and team-first attitude will continue to push me forward in my volleyball career.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I’m a member of the Sports Medicine Club at my school, where I’m learning about athletic health and injury prevention—something that also helps me better understand my own performance and recovery. I also serve as an intern for House Mangrove at The Out-of-Door Academy (ODA), where I help lead and organize activities for our school’s house competition system.
