About Izabella

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I’m quick on my feet and think fast to make the best play in the moment. I am very versatile and consistent in attacking, passing, and defense. I focus on the play and try to make the best out of every situation.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

My mentality is that if I make a mistake, it doesn’t define who I am as a pin and to just focus on the next play. I am outgoing and I bring the energy on and off the court!

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I have a received an award in honors biology for outstanding grades! I am involved in 2 school clubs, supporting animals.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Volleyball is a team sport, so i have learned a lot about teamwork and trusting my teammates to do their job. Everyone on the court is a leader and each one of them has something special to bring! I personally learned to stay positive as much as possible because when you are positive, so is everyone else, because the energy I bring radiates out to everyone on the court.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

A challenge that I faced was battling my own thoughts. Mentality in volleyball is a make or break on how you play on the court. I try to focus on good things that I have done or good things that I will do during the game!

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a college that will train me to be a better player and a better person. I want to be in a college with a good community, where everyone knows eachother! I love active colleges that try and better the area around them!
