About Jackson

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

As a libero, my gameplay style is a mix of controlled focus and high energy. I play aggressively and with intensity, always ready to dive for every ball and fight to keep the play alive. My biggest strengths are my hustle, my ability to read hitters, and my consistency in serve receive. I take pride in being the communicator on the court — keeping my teammates engaged, loud, and connected.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

My mentality on and off the court is all about intensity, focus, and positivity. I approach every game with determination and a never-give-up attitude, always pushing myself and my teammates to give our best. I thrive under pressure and stay calm when the game gets tough, using that energy to motivate others and keep the team grounded. I’m naturally loud and energetic, bringing enthusiasm.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Outside of volleyball, I stay involved in my school and community through various clubs and activities. I enjoy taking on leadership roles and working with others to make a positive impact. I’m part of organizations that focus on teamwork, service, and personal growth, and I take pride in balancing my academic and athletic responsibilities. Along with my involvement in extracurriculars.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Through volleyball and my involvement in school activities, I’ve developed strong leadership, teamwork, and communication skills. Being a libero has taught me how to lead by example — staying vocal, encouraging others, and keeping the team focused even in high-pressure moments. I’ve learned the importance of trust and collaboration, knowing that success comes from working together and supporting.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

My parents struggled with drugs when I was younger and I always wanted to do something different. I didn’t wanna go in that pathway so I chose to play volleyball after seeing my sisters and siblings play. I decided that I wanted to change up something and I wanted to play a sport and I chose volleyball and now I’m on my way to go D1 and I’m wanting to Choose a better life.
