A libero, Stanford was hard to overlook on the backcourt because of her incredible determination. She played with a lot of energy, chasing every ball that went near her and displaying excellent ball control to perform some nice digs and stand out in serve-receive. Stanford was also very engaged with all that happened on the court and she would keep talking and cheering on other players even when she was on the sidelines in a drill. The libero also had one of the best serves in the gym and consistently got the players across the net in trouble with her floater.
