About Ja’zara

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I’m a versatile player who can play Setter, DS, Libero, and Right Side. I’m always ready to do whatever my team needs and work hard. I play with energy, communicate well with my teammates, and stay focused during tough situations. I’m coachable, determined, and always looking for ways to improve my skills. I enjoy competing, supporting my teammates, and giving my best.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am hardworking, coachable, and determined. I always try to have a positive attitude and encourage my teammates. I enjoy learning, improving my skills, and competing at a high level. No matter the situation, I give my best effort and look for ways to help my team succeed.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I have volunteered in my community by helping distribute food to families in need. This experience has taught me the importance of giving back, helping others, and being a positive role model. Along with volleyball, it has helped me develop responsibility, teamwork, and leadership skills.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Volleyball and community service have helped me develop leadership, teamwork, communication, and time-management skills. Playing multiple positions has taught me how to adapt and work well with different teammates. Through volunteering to help distribute food in my community, I have learned the importance of serving others, being responsible, and making a positive impact.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

One of the biggest challenges I have faced is learning to stay confident and keep working hard even when things don’t always go my way. Through volleyball, I have learned how to stay resilient, trust the process, and continue improving no matter the obstacles. These experiences have helped me grow both as a player and as a person.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a college that will challenge me academically and allow me to continue playing volleyball at a competitive level. I want to be part of a positive team culture, build strong relationships with coaches and teammates, and continue growing both on and off the court.
