I’ve had the pleasure of watching Gabardi a few times this spring during the club season and she’s really started to make quite a name for herself. Playing up an age level, this quick lefty has been a tough matchup out of the middle. She uses her speed and fast arm swing to her advantage, and being left handed just adds another layer that makes her hard to defend. She moves well, gets on top of the ball quickly, and is tough to slow down especially when she runs a route from the right side into the middle. That angle she creates is tough for blockers to handle, and she’s really effective for her team.
