Grieser was impactful and efficient from both pins at the AAU Championships in Orlando. The 5’10” 2025 out of North Creek High School swung high and hard and racked up kills while posting a .280 hitting percentage. The rising senior must have made the right impression on college coaches in attendance, Grieser just announced her verbal commitment to Westminister University in Salt Lake City. The Griffins compete in the tough Division II Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC). Congratulations to Jocelyn and her family!

From Holley- “Jocey is hilarious and loves every aspect of competition, even outside of volleyball. Joc sets a really great block that is very easy for the middle to get too close to, and I love blocking with her because of that consistency. On top of that, she’s a really strong hitter and can hit from every position well. Her X plays are special when she comes in for a one from the right side.”

The 5’10” Grieser looks confident and explosive on the right side for NPJ 17 Seattle National. Her arm swing is packing a punch, the North Creek Jaguar junior snaps off shots smartly down the line and to the angle. Grieser has played every spot along the net, and that versatility shows when NPJ swings her to the outside or down the middle for an attack. Her best volleyball is still ahead of her, and Grieser’s footwork is getting her to all the right spots to put her best swing on every attempt.

Grieser has a skill for scoring as a right side, after banging off a block she will drop in a delicate and well-placed tip over the top to score. Her swing catches high hands and defenders spend a lot of time watching the ball ricochet out for points. Grieser has a chance to carve out a significant role at North Creek this season, the Jaguars will need her contributions to make another run at state.

A good athlete, Grieser has a quick transition and works hard to close the block at the pins. Offensively she will attack from the right side and the middle, and adjusts well to sets making sure to put the ball in and make the defense play. Grieser will use a smart, hard tip to sweep the ball down and score, and when running a quick is able to rise up and rip it for a kill.
