About Jordyn

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Jordyn has great timing, court awareness and fast reaction time. She consistently gets her hands on opposing attacks - either slowing them down for her defense or shutting them down completely. She's quick off the ground, aggressive at the net, and reads hitters well, making her a reliable and disruptive presence on the net.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Relentless positivity and encouragement for her team, both on the court and the sidelines. She's also found that focusing on encouraging and supporting her teammates helps her to move on from her own mistakes instead of allowing mistakes to get the best of her.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Leadership, teamwork, mental toughness

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Dealt with an severe ankle injury a few years ago at the beginning of club season. Continued going to practices and tournaments supporting her team while she completed rehab. Came back and finished the season with the team strong. That season of being on the sidelines taught her a lot of patience, allowed her to see the game (and injury prevention training) from a different perspective.

What type of college are you looking for?

Pre-med program, a team she can create a family away from home with.
