About Jordyn

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

As Captain I love to always point my teammates in the right direction when on the court. Also how all of us can better our game to better ourselves.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

My personality I would say is very fun and goofy. Once I get into the serious mood I don’t let anyone or anything stop me from succeeding with the goal.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I’ve received student of the month. I volunteer reffing at middle school and elementary school games. Also I give food out to homeless with my Church group.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I’ve developed very good leadership and teamwork skills with many of my teammates. I always make sure to separate the player from who they are outside of volleyball. Also how to work with others when your normal six is missing one to two players.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I face a challenge with my mentality about myself on the court and out. I’m always way to hard on myself and think I should be perfect when I am far from that and still growing as a player.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for any college, I’d just hope to play at the collegiate level!
